Supply of Intellian v100NX 16W BUC for offshore vessel
Satellite antenna Intellian v100NX (VSAT) with 16W BUC and iDirect X7 satellite router was supplied and installed for high performance satellite channel on offshore support vessel for our Customer form Cyprus.
In this case vessel has limited available spece to fit big enough VSAT antenna with good view of sight, and we offered to the Customer to pick antenna with 1 meter dish. But to improve system performance, 16W BUC was added to antenna configuration. Also we supplied an iDirect X7 satellite router so they could be easily connect to almost any service provider, because iDirect is one of the biggest suppliers of teleport hardware.
Also it was configured voucher access to VoIP-telephony and Internet for crew memebers with 1Gb vouchers. All intenral traffic goes from vessel directly to Customer's office through encrypted VPN tunnel to provide more secure data exchange.
